Zhaoge | Butterfly & Phoenix Eastern Fantasy Dress Set

From the Atelier

Zhaoge was imagined through the richness of Chinese ornamental design — butterflies in motion, floral and phoenix-inspired embroidery, golden tassels and layered details brought together within a contemporary Lolita silhouette. Rather than recreating a particular historical dress, we wanted these traditional visual languages to remain recognisable while allowing them to take on a different shape.

Much of Zhaoge's character reveals itself through movement. Tassels shift beside the face, butterflies travel across the ornamentation, and embroidered details emerge gradually through the layers of the skirt. The fan-shaped headpiece draws those elements upward, giving the complete look a stronger sense of ceremony without asking any single detail to carry it alone.

There is abundance in Zhaoge, but it is deliberate rather than ornamental for ornament's sake. Colour, embroidery, texture and movement are allowed to build upon one another until the separate details begin to read as one composition — not a reconstruction of the past, but an Ecloria interpretation of how traditional beauty can be carried forward and worn differently.

Design Details

• Traditional-inspired decorative print brings butterfly, floral and phoenix-inspired motifs into the JSK silhouette.
• Embroidered embellishment and layered trims add depth across the bodice, skirt and coordinating pieces.
• The Waist Cincher Set is paired with eight decorative tassel strips for a more ceremonial, layered finish.
• The Waist Cincher is supported with polyester boning, with selected pearl embellishments attached by hand.
• The Cloud Collar Set combines an inspired shoulder piece with four embroidered streamers, extending the visual line across the shoulders.
• A Short Cape adds a second shoulder layer and reinforces the collection's composed, formal profile.
• Golden tassels and decorative hardware introduce movement and small points of light throughout the look.
• The fan headpieces and tassel bow hair clips carry the same ornamental language upward, completing the collection as a full signature coordinate.

Fit & Sizing

Please check the size guide carefully before ordering. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size or contact us before purchase.

• S, M, L, XL and XXL apply to JSK Dress, Inner Blouse and Waist Cincher. These correspond in order to the five rows shown in the size chart.
• Wrist Cuffs use grouped sizing: the first cuff size is supplied with S and M, the middle cuff size with L and XL, and the largest cuff size with XXL.
• Cloud Collar: Size A is supplied with S, M and L; Size B is supplied with XL and XXL.
• Short Cape: Size A is supplied with S, M and L; Size B is supplied with XL and XXL.

Returns

• Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
• Items must be unworn, unused, unwashed and unaltered, with original tags and packaging.
• Items showing signs of wear, perfume, makeup, event wear, alteration or damage are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
• Standard products, including clothing, accessories and standard-size made-to-order items, are eligible for a 14-day change-of-mind return when all return conditions are met.
• Custom orders, custom-sized items, items altered at the customer's request, and clearly personalised items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.
